Overdose Training Workshop - We All Play a R.O.L.E
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD A PROMO FLYER
Langley has been one of the heaviest hit communities in BC to experience the devastating opioid overdose crisis. In the past two years, Langley lost almost 70 people to what we believe is preventable. We are inviting Langley to play a role in mitigating this crisis. We believe that Langley's attitudes, words and actions towards substance use play a role in reducing the stigma that has been created. Our presentation gives practical ways to be a safe person and to save lives

Arianna Wingfield is the coordinator for a government grant project in Langley called "We All Play a Role". This project aims to deliver educational sessions on the overdose crisis to any interested business in Langley. She has personally lost loved ones to the toxic drug supply and she wants to play a part in spreading awareness and hope.
Daniel Snyder spent over fifteen years back and forth in a devastating addiction to heroin. He found his path to recovery through numerous trips to detox and treatment, but ultimately a counselor gave me an assignment that opened his eyes to becoming self-aware - and ending this struggle. He is currently the peer & project coordinator for the "We All Play a Role" project.
