2026 Municipal Election Information

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, voters in the Township of Langley and City of Langley will elect their next Mayors, Councils and School Trustees.

Local government decisions have a direct impact on businesses and the broader community — from taxation and regulation to transportation, infrastructure, public safety, land use and economic development.

The Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce is non-partisan and does not endorse candidates. Our goal is to help members and the community access election information, understand the issues affecting local businesses, and hear directly from the people seeking elected office.

Township of Langley

Election Day

Saturday, October 17, 2026
8:00am – 8:00pm

Township of Langley voters will elect:

  • One Mayor
  • Eight Councillors
  • Five School Trustees for Langley School District #35

Advance voting opportunities are available October 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, 2026.

City of Langley

Election Day

Saturday, October 17, 2026
8:00am – 8:00pm

Eligible City of Langley voters will elect representatives to serve a four-year term from 2026–2030:

  • One Mayor
  • Six Councillors
  • Two Langley School Trustees for School District #35

Community Opinion Vote

City voters will also have an opportunity to participate in a non-binding Community Opinion Vote.
