Executive Peer Advisory Circles · Founding Cohort

A confidential board of advisors for your business.

Peer Circles brings together 8–12 established Langley business owners — no competitors in the room — with a professional facilitator, once a month. You bring a real challenge. You leave with the experience of people who've already faced it.

Running a business is the loneliest job in the building.

You're surrounded by people all day — customers, staff, suppliers — and still have nobody to talk to about the real stuff. The key employee who might leave. The prices you suspect are too low. The month cash got tighter than you let anyone see. Executive Peer Advisory Circles is the room where you can finally say it out loud — and get answers from people who've been there.

🤝Members learn from members

No expert at the front of the room. The collective experience around the table is the curriculum — real operators sharing what actually happened when they faced your problem.

🔒Confidential by written agreement

Every member signs a confidentiality agreement before the first meeting. What's said in the Circle stays in the Circle — Chamber staff never receive meeting content.

🚫No competitors. Ever.

One seat per industry, held for one business. It's the rule that makes it safe to talk real numbers — and once your sector's seat is taken, it's taken.

🎯Professionally facilitated

A professional facilitator runs the format, keeps the discussion balanced, and holds everyone to the commitments they make — so meetings produce action, not just conversation.

📅Consistent, committed group

The same 8–12 members for a six-month founding term. No drop-ins, no substitutes, no guests. Trust builds because the room doesn't change.

💬Practical topics only

Staffing, sales, cash flow, pricing, growth, operations, technology, leadership, work-life balance — the decisions you're actually carrying this month.

What a meeting looks like

Once a month, 2.5 hours, over breakfast or in the evening — your Circle chooses. Every meeting follows the same proven rhythm:

Check-in

Each member, a few minutes: one win, one number that matters this month, one thing keeping you up at night.

The hot seat

One or two members present a live challenge. The group asks questions, then advises from experience — "here's what happened when I did it" — never theory, never a pitch.

The hot topic

A facilitated round on a theme every business is wrestling with — AI adoption, hiring in a tight market, rising costs and pricing — where every member shares what's working and what isn't.

Commitments

Everyone states one thing they'll do before next meeting. Next month opens by checking whether you did it. That accountability is where the growth happens.

Who it's for

Peer Circles is for people running a business, not starting one. Size doesn't matter — a third of our members are solo operators, and this room is built for them too.

A founding seat is right for you if…

  • You've been operating for 2+ years
  • You're the owner or most senior decision-maker
  • You'll show up — all six meetings, prepared to contribute
  • You can keep other people's business confidential, full stop

It's probably not the fit if…

  • You're still getting a brand-new venture off the ground
  • You're looking for a place to find clients or referrals
  • You can't commit to the monthly meeting rhythm

Founding cohort pricing

$200 / month

Billed as a $1,200 six-month program fee, plus GST

  • Six facilitated monthly sessions
  • Professional facilitator, every meeting
  • Consistent, competitor-free group of 8–12
  • Breakfast or evening — your Circle's choice

Why $200 is the number to move on

Executive peer groups run $1,500–$2,000+ per month. Other mastermind groups can go up to $800+ per meeting. Peer Circles is the same format, built as a Chamber member program.

$200 is the founding rate. Real value and impact, delivered for Langley businesses.

One price, no tiers.

Questions you may ask

Why can't my Circle be people from my own industry?
Because then you'd never say anything real. In one community, an industry group means sitting across from your competitor — and nobody talks actual numbers in front of a competitor. We hold one seat per industry instead. The owner across the table has already solved the problem you're stuck on, and has zero reason to hold back on how.
How confidential is it, really?
Every member — and the facilitator — signs a written confidentiality agreement before the first meeting, and it survives the program indefinitely. Breaching it is a one-strike removal. Chamber staff never receive meeting content; we only ever see attendance and satisfaction data. By design, we can't repeat what we were never told.
I don't have time for another commitment.
It's 2.5 hours a month — and all six dates are published before you pay a dollar, so it goes in the calendar once. Most members tell us this is the only time in their month spent working on the business instead of in it. If you truly can't protect one morning or evening a month, you're right: this isn't your season for it.
My business is just me. Do I qualify?
Yes. The bar is operating maturity, not headcount — 2+ years running your business and real decisions on your shoulders. If every call in your business rides on you alone, you may need this room more than anyone. That said, Circles seats will be determined based on the mix needed in the room.
What if my industry's seat is already taken?
You go to the top of the waitlist for the next Circle — founding applicants get first right to their sector's seat when a new Circle forms. Strong demand in your sector is exactly what triggers us to open the next group.
Can I send my manager if I can't make a meeting?
No substitutes, ever — the trust in the room is built on the same faces showing up. If you miss a meeting, the group misses you; more than one absence in the term triggers an honest conversation about whether this is your season for it.
