Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce is extremely pleased with today’s announcement that the Federal Government has stepped up with 1.3billion dollars, the final portion of the funds required, to bring Skytrain to Downtown Langley. “The Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce has been advocating for a version of Skytrain/LRT to be extended to Langley for over 10 years”, says Colleen Clark, CEO.  “We are very pleased to have this announcement from the Prime Minister, the province of BC confirmed their portion this spring in the budget, this is the last hurdle to get this project finalized and shovels in the ground, all the way to Langley!”
 
This announcement reflects the ongoing advocacy efforts of the Chamber, in our role as the Voice of Business for Langley!  This extension will provide so many options for Langley residence and businesses moving forward.
